Bill Koch League Youth Program
ORN strives to support our next generation of skiers by creating a fun-filled environment where nordic skiing can be learned, enjoyed and respected as a lifelong sport. We offer kid's program on Saturday mornings where experienced club members will provide hands-on instruction and guidance for kids of all ages and abilities.
Program Times
Saturday Mornings: 10:00 am - 12 noon
Monday Afternoons: 3:15 pm - 5:00 pm
Our Youth Programs are operated in conjuntion with the regional Bill Koch League organization so participation in either the Saturday or Monday sessions requires paying the annual BKL fee of $20 per child. This allows our prgram to be fully covered for insurance and offers kids the ability to participate in any of the BKL events held in our area.
If you are coming out for the first time we ask that you arrive 15 minutes before the program is set to begin and so we can handle the paperwork fo getting your child registered..
Youth Racing Team
As skills develop in our younger skiers we are in the process of forming a team where kids can further explore the sport. Both the Saturday and Monday sessions have a group of more experienced skiers who are showing a higher level of commitment to the sport. Some of these kids will be participating in Bill Koch League races periodically and ORN will be assisting them in these endavors through coaching, equipment support and logistics.
